Queen attends Senior Ministers Cabinet Meeting

The Queen became the first Monarch in 230 years to sit in a cabinet meeting of Senior Ministers but only managed to stay for half an hour as the ministers have a whip round to buy a set of 60 placemats to mark 60 years on the throne.

She looked stunning in a Stewart Parvin royal blue wool dress and coat, a sapphire and a diamond broach. After posing for photographs outside 10 Downing Street with the Prime Minister, she was presented with a gift set of placemats bought after a cabinet whip round to mark her Damond Jubilee.
