Jennifer Lopez Will Be Returning To American Idol's Judging Panel For Its 13th Season

Singer and Actress, Jennifer Lopez will be returning to American Idol for its 13th season as a judge. The news was confirmed by her boyfriend Casper Smart. Apparently, he accidentally let the cat out of the bag while promoting his own new show A Step Away on Friday, as he thought an official announcement had already been made.

Casper, who has been dating the Dance Again hitmaker for almost two years was asked if his girlfriend, who is rumoured to have signed a $15 million contract with FOX, is returning to the judging panel for the 13th season, the former backup dancer, 25, told E! News: 'Yes.'

The 40-year-old actress has surprisingly topped Star Magazine's annual poll of the 20 most irritating personalities in film, music and television. It is thought to have amassed so many votes from American readers because of her reputation for leading a health-conscious lifestyle. 

Twilight star, Kristen Stewart was second on the list most probably due to the public exposure after her affair with married Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

In third place was Latin superstar and Mum, Jennifer Lopez. 

John Mayer ranked fourth place on the list after splitting from Katy Perry recently.

Katherine Heigl ranked fifth and Matt Lauer ranked sixth on the list.    

Others included Justin Beiber, Kim Kardashian, Taylor Swift, Angelina Jolie, Ashton kutcher, Jay leno and Chris Brown.
