Having lived in her older sister's shadow for years, Solange Knowles is now stepping out on her own.

The 26-year-old DJ and Actress clutched to a microphone in a pretty polka dot skirt and top combo in a funky fashion shoot for GQ's January issue alongside New York bands Grizzly Bear, Blond Orange and Dirty Projector.
